2009 - a New Year has begun. May it be a healthy and prosperous year.
Although I like the idea of journalling, I’m not so great at it. When I have to think about what to write, it doesn’t really come naturally. When I’m just thinking about out loud (yes … I guess I do talk to myself …), on the other hand, the words just flow, and by the time I’ve realized that I should have written it all down, the words are no longer stuck in my head and I’ve forgotten what I’ve just said.
To sum up the first 19 days of January –
It was really cold! Hey, that is what winter is all about, the cold weather and hoping for an earlier Spring.
January 3, 2009 – Bowling here we come!
Every year, on the first Saturday, we participate in an annual bowling tournament. It all started in the year 2003. I actually won a trophy in 2004! It is a great way to see family and friends over the holidays, and also to have some fun. After the tournament, trophies & medals are awarded to the winners of the tournament. Certificates of participation are also presented to each player. Oh yeah … and to preserve the memory, we have a group photo taken. The group just gets bigger and bigger every year!
After the tournament, we’re off to Restaurant Fu Lam for a dinner gathering (it’s optional … hey, you gotta eat, right? I’d be too tired to cook). We eat, chat, and eat some more.

So, having said that, here goes …
